What Adjustment Devices Are There in the Rolling Mill?

The short stress rolling mill has gradually eliminated the rack housing, so it is also commonly referred to as the houseless rolling mill. The short stress rolling mill has the following characteristics:

1) Easy to achieve negative tolerance rolling. Because the high rigidity of the rolling mill guarantees the high precision of the product.

2) It can achieve nominal adjustment.

3) The roll system of the rolling mill can be pre-installed and adjusted before changing the rolls. The new roll system can be replaced in about 10 minutes after stopping, and the pre-adjusted new roll system can guarantee the product quality after rolling one or two steels. Therefore, the rolling mill has good pre-adjustment performance, fast roll change and high yield.

Upper roller adjustment device: It realizes the pressing or lifting of the upper roller. There are three common types: a. manual reduction, gear and screw structure, mainly used in section steel rolling mills. b. electric pressing, there is an electric upper roller adjustment structure, and there is also an adjustment structure through a worm gear and a two-stage cylindrical gear. Generally, the preliminary rolling mill and the steel plate machine adopt an electric upper roll adjustment structure. c. hydraulic pressure.

Lower roller adjustment device to raise or lower the lower roller. There are two commonly used forms: a. gear structure under the screw adjustment; b. the structure under the oblique screw.

Medium roller adjustment structure: The three-roller type steel rolling mill is generally fixed, but due to the wear of the roll neck and the bearing pad, the middle roll will loosen a lot, which will cause a large change in the hole pattern of the lower rolling line. The middle roller adjustment structure is used to ensure the fixed position of the middle roller.

Axial adjustment device: Realize the axial movement of the roll. There are two commonly used structural forms: a. side pressure plate, which is the most commonly used axial adjustment structure; b. hook head bolts.
