Vertical rolling mill refers to the industrial equipment used in the whole process of steel rolling from raw materials to finished products. It has the advantages of high bending rigidity, high quality of strip steel and cost-saving of roll changing. The vertical roll mill usually consists of several generator sets composed of rolling mill and a series of auxiliary machines. In general, the equipment that causes plastic deformation of rolled pieces is called rolling mill.
Vertical rolling mill is usually composed of sound card stand, press down system software, gear transmission, vertical roll system, etc. The vertical roller is driven by the motor according to the reducer and Cardan shaft. At least the motor of the vertical rolling mill of the upper transmission system is usually installed in the column type. The vertical rolling mill of the lower drive system is usually driven by the vertical mounted AC motor to rotate the vertical roll according to the spline shaft, bevel gear and direct drive gear. For the vertical roll assembly line, in the movable roll stand of the rolling mill, the foot pressing system software usually uses the communication AC variable frequency motor to press down the screw nut according to the drive of the worm gear reducer.
The vertical roll and rolling mill roll stand move in the middle according to the hydraulic cylinder (AWC cylinder) and have the functions of full-automatic total width control (AWC) and short stroke arrangement control (SSC). They can cooperate with the plan appearance control system to improve the specification precision of the total width of the thick steel plate, and can also reasonably control the appearance of the top and the end of the thick steel plate head. Two hydraulic cylinders (AWC cylinders) are equipped with embedded displacement sensors for accurate positioning. Before cold rolling, AWC must be in the “in” condition, and the roll gap shall be adjusted to the set position, which changes with the thickness of the exit value of the rolled piece and the estimated cold rolling force (the loaded roll gap standard).
The vertical rolling mill can be divided into an upper drive system or lower drive system according to the drive system method, and there are a single motor drive system and double motor drive system. According to the installation method of the motor, it can also be divided into two methods: the established motor drive system and the column motor drive system. The lower drive system is selected as the key of the split type vertical rolling mill. The upper drive system is selected as the key part of the close type vertical rolling mill, but the lower drive system is selected for some of the rolling mills for rolling plate.
The uploading system vertical rolling mill generally adheres to the inlet of the rolling mill. Compared with the lower drive system, the drive system is easy to organize and easy to maintain. However, due to the heavy machinery and equipment, relatively high project investment and serious harm to the actual operation field of vision, the operators can not detect the cold rolling situation in this area, and can not make a quick response when an abnormal safety accident is found. The vertical roll mill of the lower drive system has a wide indoor space around the cold rolling line and a good field of vision for practical operation. However, the key components are all promoted under the cold rolling line. The machinery and equipment are basically deep, the maintenance room is narrow and small, the transmission system is complex, the work environment is hard, and the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment are difficult.
